I wanted to try something different, which is why Iâm hosting a remix contest with "Ultravioletâ completely unreleased so you could be a part of the debut!
Download the official stems and create your own remix for a chance to be officially released alongside the original on the Ultraviolet EP! The EP will consist of the Original, as well as 1-5 winning remixes from the contest.

robisgone took his remix in a direction that feels both nostalgic and modern, with vibes that were as he described "2016 Madeon/Complextro", and BOY IS IT GROOVY. Just undeniably catchy!

Out of the 3 nominees for 3rd place, LUMINARY's remix was the people's choice, and it was well-deserved, with soaring catchy synth leads and dancey, synth-led Melodic drops. Just beautiful!

Bringing a fresh take to the contest, Blehjiro Sakyoku went for a Future Bounce angle, and his drops are just *chef's kiss*. SO CATCHY.

surfer boi's remix immediately caught my ear for the sheer unearthly creativity of it. I felt like I was transported into outerspace and when the drop hit I crash landed on a hostile planet. What a talent, my goodness!

Saturday, July 25 at 6:00 PM EST during a livestream on Matthew Parker's Instagram.
We'll listen through the Top 10 remixes and reveal the Top 3 winners live. Following the livestream, the winners will be posted here on MatthewParkerMusic.com.

How to Enter
1. Download the Remix Stems HERE
The remix pack includes:
- A low-res, watermarked preview of the original song for reference
- Dry vocal stems
- Wet vocal stems
- Select Instrumental stems
- Select MIDI files
2. Create Your Remix
Make the song your own. Any genre is welcome, and creative reinterpretation is encouraged.
3. Export Your Remix
Submit your remix as a WAV file. Make sure your correct artist name is included in the file title and in your email.
4. Email Your Submission
Email your remix as a WAV attachment to:
matthewparkertunes@gmail.com
with the subject: "Ultraviolet Remix Contest"
5. (Optional) Share It
You're welcome to upload your remix publicly on YouTube or SoundCloud before the contest ends.
If you do, please include #UltravioletRemixContest in the title.
DO NOT upload it to Spotify, Apple Music, or other official distribution channels.

Judging
1st & 2nd Place will be selected by Matthew Parker.
3rd Place will be decided by a live audience poll during the winner announcement livestream. The poll options will consist of a small pool of runner-up nominees chosen by Matthew Parker.
Judging is subjective and based on Matthew Parker's personal artistic preferences. All judging decisions are final.

Contest Rules
- Entry is free.
- The contest is open worldwide.
- Maximum of three (3) submissions per person.
- Entries must be received before 11:59 PM PST on Friday, July 24.
- Remixes must be your own original work.
- You may use your own sounds, instruments, recordings, and production techniques.
- Any third-party samples or materials used in your remix must be properly licensed by you. Entries containing unlicensed copyrighted material may be disqualified unless the infringing material is removed before judging. Royalty-free samples are okay to use.
- AI-generated audio is not permitted in any form.
- If a submission is reasonably suspected of containing AI-generated audio, the contestant may be asked to provide the original project file to verify authenticity. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
- Entries containing content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate may be disqualified.
- By entering, you confirm that your submission does not violate the rights of any third party.

Rights & Licensing
Contestants retain ownership of their original remix (But not of Matthew Parkerâs audio stems or compositions of course). Be aware you are NOT permitted to release your remix via distribution channels such as Spotify/Apple Music/etc, but you may upload it to sites like Youtube and Soundcloud.
By submitting a remix, you grant Matthew Parker a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free license to reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, promote, and commercially exploit your remix in connection with the Ultraviolet EP, future compilations, promotional materials, streaming services, digital stores, social media, and other related uses.
Winning remixes may be commercially released by Matthew Parker without additional compensation beyond the prizes listed above.
Contestants may continue to keep their remixes available on YouTube and SoundCloud after the contest concludes.

Disqualification
Matthew Parker reserves the right to disqualify any submission that:
- Violates these rules
- Contains AI-generated audio
- Contains unlicensed copyrighted material
- Is submitted after the deadline
- Contains fraudulent or misleading information
- Is otherwise determined to compromise the fairness or integrity of the contest

Contest Changes
Matthew Parker reserves the right to modify, suspend, extend, or cancel the contest at any time if circumstances beyond reasonable control make it necessary.
